With the release of SiteCatalyst 14.4, the Notes field was enhanced to provide report-specific information including timestamp and user name, and the ability to edit or delete the note.
This enhanced note field is a really nice new feature, I could see myself use this for short explanations of new custom reports or new calculated metrics I’ve created.

Unfortunately the note field only supports a somewhat limited character set.

Just after adding a note everything looks nice:

But after reloading the page, things fall apart, the + character has been removed, and international characters replaced with garbage:

Workarounds:

• Don’t use “+” or international characters.
